Social Media Specialist

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote position for a Social Media & Digital Manager supporting AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) and real estate development clients nationwide. Occasional travel for team meetings or client engagements may be required.

The Social Media & Digital Manager will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of digital marketing initiatives across multiple client accounts. This role is responsible for managing social media channels, developing content campaigns, and supporting digital platforms including websites and email marketing.

Key responsibilities include building and executing content calendars, coordinating campaign rollouts, producing and managing digital assets (graphics, short-form video, and written content), and maintaining consistency across all digital touchpoints. The role works closely with internal team members and clients to ensure marketing efforts align with business development goals and brand positioning.

 

Core Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Execution

  • Develop and manage monthly and quarterly content calendars across client accounts

  • Plan and execute integrated digital campaigns aligned with client goals

  • Coordinate messaging across social, email, and web platforms

Social Media Management

  • Schedule, publish, and monitor content across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other relevant platforms

  • Manage engagement, tagging, and community interaction

  • Track performance metrics and optimize content based on results

Content Creation (Graphics & Video)

  • Develop graphics using Canva or Adobe tools aligned with brand standards

  • Coordinate and/or edit short-form video content for social and digital use

  • Collaborate with creative team for higher-level design needs

Email Marketing & Communications

  • Build and deploy email campaigns and newsletters

  • Manage contact lists and segmentation

  • Track open rates, click-through rates, and campaign performance

Website & Digital Platform Updates

  • Update website content, blogs, and project pages (WordPress or similar platforms)

  • Ensure content is optimized for SEO and user experience

  • Support landing page creation for campaigns and announcements

Analytics & Reporting

  • Monitor digital performance across platforms

  • Provide monthly reporting and insights to internal team and clients

  • Identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement, and conversion

 

Qualifications

  • 4–6 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or related field (AEC or real estate experience preferred)

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, scheduling tools, and analytics

  • Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar)

  • Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

  • Experience updating websites (WordPress or similar CMS)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts and deadlines

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and solutions-driven mindset

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
