30|90 Marketing delivered a two-day Strategic Planning Workshop based on the theme "Mise en Place: Everything in its Place" in Springfield, Missouri. The planning session was intended for housing authority leadership and public agencies who may be undergoing operational and funding changes.
Through an interactive workshop and correlating workbook, 30|90 Marketing worked directly with three housing authorities including Taylor Housing Authority (Texas), Housing Authority of Springfield, MO, and Ozarks Area Community Action Corporation (OACAC). These leadership teams from these agencies were guided through modules discussing organizational alignment, priority-setting, and strategic direction. In addition, they provided strategic planning support to the Taylor Housing Authority Executive Director, reinforcing executive-level advisory and facilitation experience within a housing authority context.

This training helped me to think beyond all the HUD goals and HUD compliance and transition my thinking and the trajectory for our organization to meet what a community needs more in a business mindset. Housing authorities like mine are going to be transition in their business model, and sometimes that can be scary and feel like you’re in a silo. There isn’t a lot of talk strategically about how you’re going to do that as an organization. Being able to talk to other PHA’s going through the same things helped me to create a better roadmap for where my organization needs to go.
Shea Goltzman, Executive Director
