30|90 Marketing partnered with Greater New Orleans, Inc. (GNO, Inc.), the regional economic development nonprofit organization serving a 10-parish region across Southeast Louisiana, including New Orleans. Operating as a public-private partnership, GNO, Inc. works to attract businesses, create jobs, and strengthen the overall quality of life throughout the region.
Together, we developed a cohesive suite of branded event materials supporting Game Fête NOLA, an economic development initiative focused on positioning New Orleans as a leading hub for the interactive gaming and technology industry.
As the fastest growing interactive gaming cluster in the South, New Orleans continues to attract national attention with companies such as inXile Entertainment, Keywords Studios, Pixel Dash Studios, and TurboSquid contributing to the region’s expanding digital economy.
Held during the second weekend of New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Game Fête combined networking, workforce development, business recruitment, and industry education into a high-energy experience designed to connect interactive gaming leaders, developers, studios, and economic development stakeholders.
Our role was to create visually engaging event materials that supported the initiative’s mission while maintaining alignment with the established Game Fête brand identity.
Game Fête was designed to support three primary economic development objectives:

Promote New Orleans as an emerging industry hub for interactive gaming and technology

Educate attendees on the New Orleans business case, including incentives, workforce opportunities, and regional advantages

Facilitate networking opportunities among gaming studios, developers, investors, workforce leaders, and industry guests
The event also highlighted workforce development opportunities, studio tours, panel discussions, and strategic relationship-building designed to strengthen the region’s innovation ecosystem and attract future investment.

Our Approach
The client’s vision centered around creating an elevated, energetic, and modern event aesthetic that reflected both the creativity of the gaming industry and the professionalism of a regional economic development initiative.
Rather than relying heavily on traditional gaming visuals, we developed a polished visual system that blended bold color palettes, dynamic layouts, clean typography, and playful graphic elements to create an experience that felt innovative, approachable, and connected to the spirit of New Orleans.
Each deliverable was intentionally designed to support attendee engagement and usability across multiple touchpoints, including digital promotion, presentations, on-site navigation, and networking experiences.
Because the event coincided with the second weekend of Jazz Fest, the creative direction also subtly reflected the city’s culture, music, and hospitality while reinforcing New Orleans as a destination for innovation, technology, and business growth.
Results
The final creative package helped elevate the overall attendee experience while strengthening brand consistency across all event materials. The visual system supported Game Fête’s broader economic development messaging by creating polished, engaging assets that reinforced New Orleans’ position as a growing technology and interactive gaming market. The materials also helped organizers communicate key themes around workforce development, innovation, industry recruitment, and business opportunity while providing attendees with clear, accessible tools for networking and event participation.

Game Fête demonstrated how strategic branding and creative communications can support larger economic development initiatives by helping communities tell a stronger story about innovation, talent, culture, and opportunity.
